Do I serve domestic customers?

Im often asked, do I weld / repair cars?

Yes, however I have very strict terms and conditions for these jobs, which have to be agreed by the customer before commencing any work. This is mainly due to the unknown nature of some older cars, For example a simple chassis patch for an MOT repair, can often end up being a bigger job if the corrosion is worse than first discovered.

Can I repair heritage items / cast iron?

Yes - of course, this is an aspect of my business which i particularly enjoy doing. some times it can be expensive depending on the nature of the repair, and the quantity of welding materials required.

Do I carryout mobile site works?

Yes, Its fairly obvious that the majority of my works involves “on site” work, which I am more than happy to to carry out.

Insurance?

Yes, Rose Ironworks is fully insured with 5 million public liability insurance and is covered for welding / hot works / cutting and grinding. I also carry tradesman insurance which covers the electrical side of the business.

What Guarantees do I give?

I am reliable; I will turn up as arranged to complete the job. I will communicate with you if i am late etc.

I will always maintain a clean and tidy jobsite.

Honest - I will communicate with you at all times regarding costs, and work time frames.

Can I provide Quotes?

Yes this would be an integral part of first contact with an enquiry.

Can I provide samples of my work quality?

Depending on the enquiry I am alway happy to put you in touch with a previous customer.

Do I charge for site visits?

The first visit is free, subsequent visits are charged at £30.00 per hour

Payment terms.

Payment in full for all materials, labour maybe broken down into staged payments.

Do I respond to out of hours callouts / emergency breakdowns?

Yes, after 7pm weekdays these are charged at £150.00 per hour; minimum charge is £150.00. Time is charged from initial contact.

All quotes are valid for 10 days maximum due to price fluctuations of materials.
